Education and Experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received my Master's of Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC). I am also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through the Academy of CBT. I received multiple trainings through the Department of Mental Health in Motivational Interviewing, Problem Solving Therapy, Seeking Safety and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. I am currently pursuing a certification in Exposure and Response Therapy.
For the past 11 years, I have worked not only as a therapist but as a Social Worker in psych units, hospitals, other medical settings and currently in dialysis clinics. I also have experience in Case Management where I have learned to advocate for patients who need resources.
